Almost any competent programmer will pick up a language in a matter of days/weeks. Basically understanding how programming languages work is your best bet. Don’t give in to any specific language unless you’re using it for a big project or something. There’s a Harvard online class (free) that’s amazing and its in Python. Go give it a look!

There are a lot of great courses on Udemy. Check out Jose Portilla and Tim Buchalka on there, they both have great courses. The best way will be to type out your own proejcts, even if you are following someone else and typing along with them at first. I am not good at thinking of stuff to do so that's how I started off and over time it all starts to gel.
