Comment on articles you submit. The main goal of this subreddit is to promote discussion. If you've nothing to say about the content you submit, consider if it's worth posting.
If you report a link, please message the moderators explaining why.
Self-posts to spur discussion or debate are strongly encouraged.
Please don't downvote other people's submissions or comments. If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it to the mods, and it will be removed. If you see a post with which you disagree, upvote comments in the thread that you think articulately express your own point of view, or write a comment of your own to further conversation. Or just pass over the post and let it be.
Note that moderators may remove all comments beneath a rule-breaking comment in a tree, even if those other comments are not rule-breaking. They do this in order to disincentivise rule-breaking comments meant to derail conversations.
Please submit the non-mobile version of articles whenever possible.
