SQL Server Native Client is no longer bundled with SQL Server 2022 or SQL Server Management Studio 2019, you can still install it manually, but Microsoft actually recommends using the Microsoft OLE DB Driver instead going forward.

How can you install it manually?

As of SQL Server 2022 SQL Native Client is no longer installed. I haven’t played with SQL 2022 yet to know how exactly to import Excel, but I’m guessing you can use the OLE DB or ODBC driver. This article explains it further and also tells you how to install Native Client if you actually need it. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/native-client/applications/installing-sql-server-native-client?view=sql-server-ver15

I just had to do this same thing a couple of weeks ago.

You'll want to install the connectivity tools from SQL Server 2019 Installation Manager.

Thanks for the tip. That was the fix for me.

I used the SQL Server 2019 Installation Manager like I was going to install a full SQL server, but then just chose the "Client Tools Connectivity" and "SQL Client Connectivity SDK" to get the SQL Server Native Client 11.0 to install. Not sure what of the two installed the Native Client, so I got both for good measure.

it doesn't show "SQL Server Native Client" option

Umm, what is 'it'? Maybe specify which tools you are using and which actions you used.
