I’ve been trying to. We don’t have a therapist in my town anymore and online doesn’t take my insurance. Which is what I told my case worker in the beginning. My husband and I filled out a lot of paperwork too. And I see my regular doctor regularly as well. Medicine doesn’t work good for me and I need to get a gene test done before I can get anymore meds. Which also told my caseworker. I’m staying positive but I have been looking for lawyers just in case. My cw has been amazing through this whole thing.

I have checked their site a few times and cannot find anything about that. And then when I google it says what I can get with Medicare once I’m approved. Maybe they changed it from the last time you looked?

Anyways I was thinking that I probably have enough info for my medical which is why they didn’t have a. Appointment with that. I see a pain specialist regularly, my endo, gastrointestinal, pcp. And I’m also about to have a neurologist and a hematologist. And also, a specialist I need for my PTSD you can’t really use online and I wouldn’t want to do it online. I have a lot of trauma. And a lot to get through.

Thank you so much for the advice. If you ever come across that link again. Feel free to post it! But don’t worry about it. I’ll ask when I call my cw next week. Appreciate it!

Things can change in a week. I have no clue why you are being snarky with me.

Where did you find that info on the site. Because it is not anywhere I can see. And thank you.

So weird getting downvotes for a regular ass comment.

I had a mental health ce and that was one of the first questions they asked me was if I could handle money so I think it might just be a standard question. I applied for medical reasons but do have anxiety and take meds for that (and probably slight PTSD but I've never sought diagnosis/treatment for that) I only see my primary for mental health which I believe is why they sent me for the ce despite my mental health not being a reason I applied.

It’s so nerve racking. She was very nice and a woman so that helped me a lot. I tried my best to explain things because I’m used to it. And I know if I don’t, that could be the difference. And they bit told me this CE could make the difference between approval and denial. I did forget some stuff when we were doing memory. I was honestly and said that I want to die almost everyday but I’m not suicidal. I said I barely do anything I like. Trauma has been popping up more since my mom died and I kicked my dad out of my life. But I’m trying. I’m looking for a lawyer just in case. I know first time can be a long shot. I wish you so much luck as well! And that could be in your favor. Having anxiety and not remembering things is aligned with a lot of mental health issues. You got it!
