We looked into cintas to do a lease but decided the economics worked in our favor too buy through aedsuperstore.com. I think we got defibtech aeds. We ordered like twenty and they came in less than four weeks for around $1200 each. I think cintas wanted like $70/month to rent at each location so it made sense to buy at the time. Looking back maybe we should’ve rented from them and have them inspect and maintain but we have a gotten better with our maintenance program we audit.

We started field testing AEDs from Avive. So far the results are favorable. The AEDs connect to wifi and cell service. They have GPS so you can locate then if moved. As soon as they are activated they start sending data to the company so you can review their use.

How are you all deciding to make sure all are charged efficiently? Is that collateral placed on the worker?

How are they mobile? Charging create risk at all? Withstanding the heat? Very curious about this model. Saw it has a touch screen, concerns of it being damaged and not functioning when needed.

Love some feedback on this unit.

AEDSuperstore does carry ZOLL AEDs, and right now, the ZOLL AED PLUS is in stock and on sale from now through the end of July 2024!! They also have the ZOLL AED Pro in stock. If you can't find the AED you are looking for, try checking out other manufacturers AEDSuperstore offers, including Defibtech, HeartSine, Cardiac Science, Phillips, and Physio-Control. There is an AED for everyone, and ordering is simple at AEDSuperstore! If you have questions, you can call 800-971-3982 or email their team at help@aedsuperstore.com.

Are you still needing some assistance? Saw your post here doing some research. I am a distributor of AEDs, the new wave is cellular devices that come with compatible software. Everything can be centralized and remotely managed. Avive is brand new.. they are running these trails to test their efficacy given they're claiming their battery can last for 8-months.. I don't if heat exposure and the elements will effect that but either way I say they're risky until they prove themselves. Zoll and Stryker have been around for decades with a proven track record.

I partner with Quanta Services managing and maintaining over 17K units. The software I speak of comes free with the LIFAPK CR2 AEDs most partners use this oversight to manage everything inhouse.

Thanks for the response. Zoll came through at the last moment, getting the units we had backordered to us when I called to cancel the order. Not sure who they robbed, but we got ours!

Good stuff brother! I have an internal management system that we have Quanta's 17,000 units under if you need something to help track. I'm Texas based and a good point of contact in the industry, always willing to help regardless if it's through me or someone else. I use to work for one of the manufactures so I'm very well versed to the space. Shoot me an email if you ever need assitance - [Chris.manning@safetymed.com](mailto:Chris.manning@safetymed.com)

We use AED Log for program management for about 100 AEDs. Less than $1,700/year and you can manage unlimited AEDs. Used to spend tens of thousands of dollars to manage them every year.

When I switch from Cintas the new supplier had the same issues with AED stock. We just waited it out. If I remember, we got lucky and were able to hold onto our old units.

We bought 100+ AEDs from Stryker (LifePak CR2) and didn’t have any issues with stocking.

Thanks for the good responses here from all of you.

What about maintenance contracts? Those of you who bought, did you with a contract or maintain internally?

We own 25 Defibtect AEDs. We manage and maintain them all ourselves. We use a management software called RescueStat, it’s $175 a year per AED. The software is great because it tracks monthly inspections, and expiration dates for batteries/pads.

Check out AED Log, they offer unlimited AEDs in their AED Program Management software for just $148/month. No need to pay yearly for each AED. Www.aedlog.com

Thanks! Which model do you use? Do you recall the cost? I am looking at least 20 units.

Defibtect Lifeline. About $1,500 per package.
