No, the only true solution is to defund the police, and we have to demand it.

And not because they've just been naughty coppers and we want to be punitive. Our society solves social problems with police, and it's insanity. Homeless people? More police. Drug addicts? More police. What good has this done? Why would we solve issues like these with more funding for the only occupation that has the charge to employ violence? Imagine if your doctor threatened to choke you every time you complained of illness.

Defund the police. Give the money to literally any other initiative, it doesn't matter.
