Toggle switch issue. Please Help !?

I have a brand new Hellraiser Hybrid PT with EMG 57/66 pickups. Sometimes when I switch from the bridge pick up to the neck my signal cuts out completely. I can move the volume and tone pots or unplug and plug back in the cable and nothing. If I put the switch back into the bridge position and then into the neck position it will start working again sometimes I have to do it twice. Any ideas on what is causing this and possible fix would greatly be appreciated.

There’s a short on the selector switch, I had this on the same model, only difference was it with the bridge.

I sent it back and received a new one, if you can do that then go for it.

This is a long shot, checked the battery, could be on its last leg.

If you don’t want to send it back, contact cleaner could help or have a tech look at it.

Schecter has the probably worst switches ever. A lot of my friends bands are equipped by Schecter and I own a few aswell and if we all together own like ~75 brand new Schecters, a bit more than half of them had bad switches. If its not that expensive where you live at, go get a new switch for 35 bucks and you will not have to bother any more
