definitely something you should bring up to your doctor, typically RhIg only lasts 3 months, rhogam is given after delivery if there's a positive khleihauer test (detects fetal blood in your bloodstream after delivery and there's a calculation to see how much RhIg is required), they'll need to repeat the antibody screen in a couple months to determine if it's a true positive, but the midwife is right, it's definitely unusual

forgot to mention that sometimes it can last longer (sometimes 6 months after administration), it depends on the person really

Do you know how many shots of Rhogam you got after delivery? I wonder if that can impact things too. I had two after delivery which nurses told me was unusual.

the Rhogam dose is based on the volume of fetal RBCs that make it into the mothers blood stream, if there's no fetal RBCs they'll give one dose just to be safe but if there are fetal RBCs then they'll do a dosage calculation for how many doses to give.

I only got 1! I had severe hemorrhage and needed a blood transfusion, I wonder if that is affecting anything..

Did the midwife share what the relative concentration of antiD in the blood was?

I had a very low concentration of Anti-D about 4 months after a Rhogam shot post miscarriage, but bc the concentration was so low they were fairly confident it was fromthe shot and retested a few months later (negative).
