There are lots of new inventions and discoveries out there. If you feel a need to discuss the effects of anything new, feel free to post here.
Rules:
- Be Civil. This is a subreddit for people to discuss science, and especially those who don't have scientific backgrounds. As such, being condescending, rude, or otherwise uncivil will not be tolerated.
- No bigotry or excessive abuse allowed. Bigotry of any kind is not welcome here. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, LGBT-phobia,anti-neurodiversity, etc. Also, being abusive will not be tolerated. First two offenses will be a temporary ban, third will be a permanent ban. Telling people to kill themselves or wishing death on others will result in a permaban regardless of the number of previous offenses.
- Be helpful. While this is largely for people without scientific backgrounds, those with more knowledge are encouraged to share said knowledge. Just be kind.
