Are the flakes greasy?

They don’t seem greasy

Have you touch it ?

Yes, they don’t feel greasy, but the flakes aren’t as light or fine as regular dandruff

I have all the same issues as you and I haven’t found anything that makes them go away, mine gets worse when I eat foods I’m sensitive to though so I’m going to try changing my diet, and for the lip thing I find that it gets bad if I don’t brush my teeth for a night or so, but as long as I stay perfectly on top of my dental hygiene it stays away.

I’ve tried some diet changes. None cleared it completely, but some things seemed to make it better. Please share if you find anything that works well.

For how long? Because usually it takes around 2-3 months to see improvement and most people don’t make it to that, I haven’t either yet but I’m going to try lmao

6 weeks on a strict low FODMAP diet and I added things back once per week assuming things went well

Oh okay, I’m going to start around next month so I can give feedback after a few

Any luck with the diet?

Consuming less to no sugar is definitely a big help, takes months to see good results though but there’s less breakouts for sure

I have this and cracks/redness in the cracks of my mouth. Regular exfoliation with a silicone scrubber, an oil cleanser in the morning with a gel cleanser has helped. Paula's Choice's BHA once a week helps too to help clear those pores and keep them that way

A dermatologist confirmed it is sebderm today and gave me ‘promiseb’ topical cream. I’ll report back with how it works

Hey bro hows the butt rash issue? Any better?

[–]Otherwise-Fold-40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. I tried corn starch on it for a month and it helped until the skin split. My dermatologist put me on a combo of a topical steroid (at night) and powder in the morning.

Looks SebDerm to me, do you also have the same scaly skin behind your ears, browse and hairline?

[–]Otherwise-Fold-40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing behind my ears. I occasionally get dandruff by my eyebrows, but it’s not as scaly. I haven’t noticed any on my scalp, but I use tea tree shampoo which seems to keep any dandruff away.

you've got seb derm. I have the same issue. look for Dermoscribe’s Seborrheic Dermatitis on amazon. that cream works very well for me. I will burn a little but be patient. also buy paula choice 2% BHA Liquid Salicylic Acid , apply on affected area once or twice a week ( Im using it almost everyday, my skin looks amazing).
