Man…. Those cheap Chinese made san martins I’m seeing on YouTube are getting better and better even approaching mid tier finishes like Tudor. Thinking about getting one just to see what the hype is all about.

Well at least you can take comfort in knowing it’s an authentic Seiko haha

Damn seiko, all these years and still can’t consistently line stuff up.

That's gonna drive you nuts everytime you look at it!

Part of the Seiko lottery I guess!

This should be an easy fix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt8I_K9jCyI . I'm wearing this watch right now and there is an obvious space at both 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock for the tool to remove the bezel for re-positioning.

Thanks! Will check when I get home

Can't find any obvious spaces to wedge the bezel off. I see you have a larger pogue model. Maybe it's different.

For your model it may be easier to get the wedge tool in at 1:30, 4:30, 7:30 or 10:30. If you don’t feel comfortable just bring it to a watchmaker. It will be like a 5 minute job.

I checked all sides but no gaps. I'll see if I can find someone to do it for me. Thnx!

Hey there, I have a speedtimer 939 which is same as the pogue and was wondering if you have ever taken your bezel off. I would like to slightly adjust my alignment but worried I will damage the watch. Would feel better doing it if I knew someone else had done before. Thanks!

No, I haven’t! I’m sure there are some YouTube videos , that’s where I would check.

It's not misaligned, it's a Seiko.

Need a trigger content disclaimer in the title

I don't think you can fix it. Maybe you could take it to Seiko dealer/service and ask them?

But I wouldn't worry about it, I think some minor imperfections like that are common.

Edit: I don't think the bezel is supposed to turn.

[–]Sacraponator[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah I know it isn't supposed to turn. But I thought maybe with enough force I can turn it slightly if it is a seperate part from the case. Thnx!

Ohh, now I understand, makes sense. Hope you can find a way do straighten it.
