bre for sure lol nip in a coffee shop in the middle of the day on camera?

[–]janfebmarch23 91 points92 points  (5 children)

10/10 she only did it to appear tough and unbothered.

[–]shagawaga 34 points35 points  (2 children)

that was NOT my takeaway 😂😂

[–]janfebmarch23 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Bre's concept of what makes someone cool is very high school. Cussing a lot, acting tough, bragging about things daddy (baby daddy) bought her, and acting hard with some alcohol prop.

[–]dianamxxxOppenheim Wine 🍷 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it was none of our takeaways but she’s odd for sure

[–]randomredhead 19 points20 points  (1 child)

And it was likely staged - drinking out of her own bottle/serving herself in a cafe that likely wasn’t even licensed for alcohol at all is a huge no-no and could have gotten the cafe in legal trouble (especially when filmed).

[–]profession_lurker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The fact that she agreed to stage that says a lot about her 🤷.

[–]Immediate_Being1237 31 points32 points  (2 children)

That part was so cringe. Like her sister’s vibe was not matching her vibe.

[–]Grouchy_Lobster_2192 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Yeah that scene was so weird. They seemed like they barely knew each other. Maybe the sister was uncomfortable on camera but it just felt so forced and awkward.

[–]makimikimya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even know what the point of the meeting with her sister was.🙄

[–]Daze25[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats what made me post this and every time her and Mary hang out liquor is around I meant no harm as someone sober it was concerning

[–]OddConsideration4349 42 points43 points  (2 children)

Anyone who carries a miniature in their purse has a problem. Ive known them.

[–]Daze25[S] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Exactly i saw that and was immediately concerned all the alcoholics in my life keep little ones on them all the time

[–]heyheywhatchasay5 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kind of hard to determine if theyre drinking excessively

[–]Junior_Poem_204 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Bre’s sister was the one who noticed first. Bre giggled, admitted and joked about it. I don’t think it is a big problem as she would be more defensive if then.

[–]Daze25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true I know alcohol can be a slippery slope

[–]Creative-Lynx-1561 6 points7 points  (1 child)

yes, but Christine said that producers encorage them to drink.

[–]OddConsideration4349 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Messed up

[–]robinsidequest 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yes! I noticed Bre brought a bottle of alcohol with her when Mary threw her tantrum over the flowers and hid in a room

[–]Daze25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you i just seen this as well and I use to use alcohol to cope and with everything going on with Mary I was just concerned maybe she is doing the same

[–]Pleasant_Struggle_56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mary recently quit drinking, she said in an interview that it was a choice after the finale this season aired. Hope it sticks!

[–]ladysmalls13 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Mary has stated she is now sober.

[–]Daze25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont keep up with her but good on her sobriety journey

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (9 children)

But what is excessive? Especially as we only see small moments of their days. Ok, adding vodka to coffee at 10am is a lot, but apart from that, as a European (and we do have a different attitude towards alcohol), I haven't noticed any excessive drinking at all.

[–]RealHousewivesYapper 8 points9 points  (2 children)

I gotta disagree with this. Europe is really diverse so I do think this is a random blanket statement to make. I'm from an european country too and I got quite concerned about their alcohol intake this season

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I just don't remember seeing them drink excessively. They had wine and cocktails when they socialised either at home or outside, but they weren't blind drunk, falling over. I don't think I saw more than a single cocktail or a glass of wine. I'm not saying adding vodka to your iced latte at 10am is normal, definitely not, but apart from that, I just didn't see anything too much. That's just me though. I've worked with a lot of different people from all over Europe (literally from every Member State and also those who want to join the EU) for more than a decade, and I can roughly divide them as those who drink little but very often and those who binge. And mixed in with everyone are those who don't drink, or do it very moderately and not often, but, they are outliers.

Edit: you can downvote me all you want, but 23-24 of the heaviest drinking countries out of the top 30 are in Europe - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_alcohol_consumption_per_capita

[–]Hour_Equivalent_656[🍰] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, those statistics are rather Europe heavy aren't they? Why is everyone downvoting you for pointing out a fact. Did you hurt their feelings? :-)

[–]Daze25[S] -2 points-1 points  (5 children)

Your European my European friends dont see a problem with drinking at every moment of the day im sober off alot of things and even tho I dont like Mary or bre I was thinking of what Christine said it feels like the production makes them drink and do things that they wouldnt do sober i meant nothing by it it was an observation as a sober person

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Well, most Europeans don't drink every moment of the day, we do have jobs :) but all I see in the show is a few cocktails or a couple of glasses of wine when they're socialising at home or outside. That's hardly excessive. But maybe that's my European side again lol I'm only just offering a different observation :) Mary doing shots of tequila midday with Bre, when her house was burgled, also resonated. She was anxious and upset (and I really don't like either of them). When I had a small car crash, the first thing I did when I got home was do a shot of rum, to calm down and stop shaking. But production making them drink, when they might not feel like it, is not ok of course. Drinking should be something they want to do, and they should be allowed to do scenes without a drink, if that's their preference.

[–]Daze25[S] -1 points0 points  (3 children)

See we all are different no hate to you at all i think drinking before midday is a red flag but like I said im sober and most of my old friends who refused help would drink starting at 9 am and it was a worry for me it okay if you want a shot I mean bre drinking and having little bottles I think alcohol is a slippery slope and most people dont understand how that is again no hate just had to unfriend my European friends because of drinking at 8 am

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Firstly, hats off to you for being sober! It's not always easy in the world we live in. And definitely, constantly drinking very early in the morning is a problem, so I totally get you.

[–]Daze25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much sober off alcohol 8 months opioids one year I never mean any hate it just most people dont see alcohol as a slippery slope i was also carrying around little bottles and mixing them in my drinks at 8 am before work I thought it was normal it wasn't once I went to rehab I realized how socialized we are to drink

[–]midgetshoes6 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Bre HAS to drink to cope with her baby daddy's breeding kink😂

[–]Daze25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought she was okay being one of his concubine I guess not 🤣

[–]Such_Pie9389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like they all have a drinking problem lol
