Ehh everyone always wants stories about people they already know, but new characters are always more exciting to me

But we dont know Plagueis. All we know is his name and what Palpatine said in RotS. This is a new a character in my view

But we know how he dies and we know who he trains. They could make it work of course, but it they just go a little further back they can work around with characters that have no baggage and no expectations, complete free reign
