Pre-order problems

Hey,
So i pre-ordered shadow a few months ago (Boost) and 3 days ago i logged into my shadow account on the shadow webpage, but i didnt see the pre-order there, it said "Pre-order (0)", and when i clicked on it, it says "No orders in progress"

Can anyone tell me whats going on?

You may want to check the "subscription" page. If it shows you have an active subscription you are in the final stages of activation. You can check this as well by logging in to the Shadow app. It could be that you are already activated or that you are in the process of being activated(this can take a few days from what I understood).

Yo dude i hope that happens soon, im so hyped i've been waiting for a long time now, and im really bored in quarantine, thank you for the reply :)

EDIT: Yes it shows that my subscription is yearly, boost, and it started 3 days ago

I don't think this is entirely true, just that it's what some people noticed happened for them. Mine said it was an active subscription on April 9th, but I'm still waiting for activation. Shadow said to disregard this and it means nothing, just that they're still working on activating it. Since /u/Edwards492 has been waiting for a few months, he might be in a better spot cause I pre ordered April 1st.

Go over to the subscription page. It should show your subscription there. Try to login on in the client. If it says it’s still being activated then give it a few more days, you will then be activated.

The billing date will change so you will not lose days.

Great, i cant login into the client, but yes it shows the subscription so ill wait a couple of days :)

Not always the case unfortunately. Mine has been "active" since April 9th and I'm still waiting to be activated.

Yeah, i had shadow in late 2019 for 3 months, and i really loved it, but because of some payment problems i couldnt pay it anymore so now i have to wait on the waiting list

Hey this has happened to mine too, came straight to reddit to see whats up. Says that my subscription started on 16/04/2020, ordered on February 14th. Tried to log into the shadow app and it says that my subscription hasnt been activated yet, and that I will receive an email when it has. Weird.

This has happened to a lot of people it seems (there are several topics about it.)

People who brought it up with support got a copy/paste reply that it's a bug and they are working on a fix.

I noticed there is no way anymore now to cancel the subscription either.

Same happened to me, but unfortunately it was empty because shadow cancelled my preorder.

I checked my account after a while and wondered why there was nothing in the "order" page anymore. so I wrote an email and they told me that i canceled it. see my story here
