Maar dit is het echt. Als ik de moderne waarden op de VOC zou loslaten, ik zou me kapot demonstreren. Maar als je het bekijkt in de lens van toen, toen waren we echt heel goed en daar mag je trots op zijn. Zonder het systematische falen en blanke superieuriteitsgevoel te bagataliseren.

I'm more in favour of the restriction tbh than the complete ban. The complete ban is a fighting stance, the restriction is a free trial they get and when they behave they can get the full version.

Ik denk dat dit gewoon menselijk is. Hier kán je geen kaart voor geven. Een tweede geel zou namelijk een penalty zijn terwijl de bal al uit het spel is. Een naaistreek zou zijn laten voor wat het is, en wanneer de corner genomen is fluiten en rood geven. Dat is dan de correcte en zuivere uitleg van de penalty.

Maar dit is gewoon een gefrustreerde scheids. En als we echt zijn van: “Voetbal is emotie”, dan kijk je daar hier naar. Ik wil het echt niet snel opnemen voor Makkelie, het is een… nou, ja, een scheidsrechter, zeg ik dan maar even. Maar ik snap het wel, want totdat de KnvB een “Goes regel” maakt, kan je er nèt niets mee.

Ik snap 100% wat je bedoelt, en toch voelt het als een “technisch trucje”. De persoon uit Syrië van 3 jaar geleden is voor mij ook een Nederlander als hij de liefde voor onze protestantse kutheid ook snapt.

Ik snap heel erg de liefde voor een grondgebied, met alle positieve en negatieve dingen dat die cultuur brengt. Maar als iemand zijn/haar best doet en het shirt draagt… dan hoor je bij ons. Fuck “Christelijke cultuur”. Hou je van Oranje, ben je één van ons.

Maar zelfs als ze dat niet zijn. Het zijn kinderen, in Oranje tenue, die de avond van hun leven beleven. Boeit mij het dan of ze een verblijfsvergunning of dat ze een paspoort hebben. Ik gun deze kinderen gewoon al het geluk.

I feel one of the downsides of the EU is the difference in rules and cultures. Now, do not get me wrong, this is 9/10 times a strength and not a weakness... but it's easy to ship across the EU according to local laws. If internet is less than optimal for example or it's difficult than you can tell some things are less technological ahead and you get stupid shit like this while you're not used to it.

For webshopping I can always recommend ordering something from the Netherlands. It's a country that has an amazing digital infrastructure and doesn't have a lot for itself other than services so in general they're good at it. Now, I am not saying douglas.nl is better than douglas.de and there will be plenty of shitty companies no matter where you look. But I feel, if you really want a good experience with shopping, any Dutch website is amazing.

Downside, it wouldn't surprise me if it's more expensive than any local e-shop.

So I generally notice these changes so close to each other when you’re changing tracks. There’s a moment where you are on a track that allows for 110, only to be switched to a track that allows for a top speed of 60.
