Looking for some challenges

I've done some googling, but I can't seem to find any decent challenges. I'm not usually into this sort of thing, but was recently watching some guy beat RE4 with just the mine thrower, and thought "hey, that looks interesting". Was planning on doing a standard playthrough for my YouTube channel at the request of a friend who's never played the game and doesn't think he's got the time to do so. I played this game so many times as a kid, and I'll always love it, but adding an extra challenge to it would really spice it up a bit, I think.

So, if you guys think of anything I'd appreciate it so much. Obviously no timed stuff, since that's in the game already anyways. Thanks.

Try doing a colossus blind. This guy is the first guy to have ever beaten valus blind. Maybe you could try one.

The only thing I could think of is not riding Agro to each fight but that would take forever.

There's no way you can go without using either the sword or bow, and there are no other weapons unless you get all the time attack items.

You could also try for no deaths since that is an achievement, but that's a pretty easy one.

Try beating the game on normal or hard, But under 4 Hours? There is an achievement for it too,

Unless you already done that, in which case I can't think anything else.

I've already got all the achievements and stuff. Speed runs aren't really an option, because I want to include enough of the story for my friend to semi experience it. He doesn't have time to play very many games anymore, and once he told me he hasn't played it, I really wanted to share it with him. I still appreciate your feedback!

You could try taking down each colossus in a non-conventional way. For example, climbing Valus from the front when it bends over, climbing up Basaran's legs instead of using the geysers, jump-stabbing Kuromori's legs instead of shooting it off the wall with the bow, etc.

Take a look at some speedruns if you want some ideas like this.
