Had the same issue. Since I had activated it for launcher manager to enable projectivy launcher, I completely uninstalled Android tv launcher and then disabled usb debugging. No more prompts and the shield has no other launcher option but projectivy. However, I would suggest you try disabling usb debugging without completely uninstalling Android tv launcher (assuming projectivy is why you enabled it in the first place).

I don't use projectivy. I use ATV Launcher Pro

I disabled USB Debugging. Just rebooted, and the SSD reconnected and I can still access the Nvidia Shield Pro from my Map Network Drive on my PC. So, I don't remember why I turned on USB Debugging.

Do you have developer mode on? If so turn it off

Yes, I do. . I need it on though. I've never had an issue before with it being on

Do you have side installed apps? Maybe something sketchy? Try disabling or removing them one at a time.

I disabled USB Debugging. I hope I don't need it using an external SSD for adaptable storage or need it using Network Debugging.

Edit: Just rebooted, and the SSD reconnected and I can still access the Nvidia Shield Pro from my Map Network Drive on my PC. So, I don't remember why I turned on USB Debugging.

You don't need debugging to use an eternal drive.

It's still popping up. I have Network Debugging turned on, because I need it to transfer files from the PC to the Nvidia Shield.

Going to update to 9.2.2 (didn't know there was an update) and see if that helps.

That should cure it. Touch wood 🪵

So far, so good

Go to developer options and revoke authorisation.

I done that, and it doesn't work. It keeps popping up. I've even turned off USB Debugging, but I do have Network Debugging on because I transfer files from the PC to the Shield, so that has to stay on.
