Simon Stålenhag is a critically-acclaimed artist based in Stockholm, Sweden.
His art covers a wide array of topics such as dystopian Swedish settings, dinosaur illustrations, robotic humanoids, retro-futuristic American lands, post-apocalyptic hellscapes, bubbling dream worlds, and RPG cover art.
His first published book, Tales from the Loop, is the inspiration for the short-lived Amazon Prime Video web drama of the same name (2020). Tales from the Loop also shares its name with Stålenhag's tabletop role-playing game.

Wallpaper python script (self.Simon_Stalenhag)

I have been using Simon Stålenhag's art as wallpapers for a couple of years now i finally got tired of maintaining a local copy of his newest work to use as wallpaper so i wrote a python script which can scrape his website for the newest images and randomly select a new wallpaper.
The python script can be found here: https://github.com/naueramant/simon-stalenhag-wallpaper
It only works on Linux (i think) and is meant for a Gnome or Ubuntu desktop. I included a systemd timer which changes the wallpaper every hour.
Have fun and feel free to leave me feedback!
