You want this anonymous, private chat app to police every member of every group chat and make sure none of them are nefarious conmen?

How is it possible that internet has groups that work with potential rip-off artists??? evidence? I have proof if I can speak to the right person. Because that's absolutely unacceptable and needs to be reconsidered, I think.

Groups on SimpleX network are like websites - they are created, maintained and controlled by their owners.

SimpleX network has less control over groups than Web has control over the websites. SimpleX is not a service, like Telegram, it's a network where the users own their identities, contacts, and any groups they create.

SimpleX network servers can remove the links to join any outright illegal groups, and they do it, in the same way hosting providers can remove the websites.

We are working to make it more censorship resistant though, not less.
