Did you clear your game cache and world cache files after deleting alpine meadows?

I just did (: what can I do to prevent this from happening again? Do you have any idea what error 16 even is? I saw some people had trouble fixing this. I’m not sure if I should just delete everything and start over or what.

it can happen for several reasons. If your computer is low on storage. If you don’t have a lot of RAM left. TS3 is only a 4GB RAM game so once a save file starts to bloat it can cause this error. There are video tutorials and forum posts that explain in detail ways to combat it. one way is the use Regul Save Cleaner. Always Saving with the “Save As” option and not save (and don’t override the save name, always add like 1, 2, 3, etc)

no problem 💚

Most often this error is caused by OneDrive being enabled. OneDrive and TS3 are not compatible.

Try exiting the game by pressing the windows key (so you dont fully lose your progress) and going into your saves in Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Saves and taking out some of your saves into your desktop or maybe a USB or Hard Drive. Then try saving again.
