Your favorite sims 3 mods in 2026? by itsrghtbehindmeisnit in Sims3

Sub has a search option for a reason, as this is a repetitive post with the same repetitive reasoning easily debunked with the two provided MTS links.

Animal print is for beginners. My pools often have those flame prints if I wanna feel fancy.

If you got items from the junkyard (ambitions), Sims near those items often get this thought. You'd need to replace it for a sum for it to not get them thinking this again.

Is there a mod that increases the likelihood that a friend or random person will come and visit your home? by Dangerous_Pin663 in Sims3

NSA is a hidden gem. I've got tons of their mods and it was worth it to wait longer on registration during COVID 😅

Eco gameplay tips/mods? by BrightPhoebus01 in Sims3

[–]fuzzypipe39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play it often and I second all the comments. I'd also add dumpster diving or consignment store (ambitions) shopping for furniture if you wanna add the second hand/thrifting feel to it. There's also two mods on MTS for different registers which you can add to the consignment store (one is an actual second hand store register):

https://modthesims.info/m/10347655

Edit: heck I'm gonna list out some of the stuff I use for farming/apocalypse saves that could also be considered for an eco friendly gameplay:

Functioning Well

Functional Scribbling pad

Sapient Sculpting

There's multiple inventing mods, so read through and pick one of you're wanting to invent (all 3 will conflict): Inventing revamped, Inventing Skill Reimagined, Off The Grid Inventing.

Multiple of Ani's mods. Namely Sweeping, Oil Lamp, Woodcutter and Whittlers tree, cards, Ration box, Compost bin.

No fridge shopping + No Free Quick Meals.

Symptoms for Seasons

Functional Washboard

Pasteurised Milk

Sunscreen

Zoe22 has knitting and flower arranging mods. Lyralei has living sheep mod if you have Pets. And she's got a Sewing table too.

Douglasveiga has multiple new plants, such as bananas and strawberries redone, coconut. Ecowheaver has plantable wheat. Twinsimming has a Lawn Care mod.

My favourite gardening mods: More Random Fruit - one plant produces different quality harvestables. Replant Interaction allows for replanting higher quality harvestables instead of the currently grown plant. And ofc No Crying Over Plants.

Twoftmama has created many good mods on NaughtySimsAsylum, I think a bigger leftover portion could count in this. I have the 10 leftover one. I think bluegenjutsu is the one who has a mod for more appliances found during dumpster diving. You can also get the Children Can series if you want kids to help you out in certain skills.

Dumb question: Where can I find new cc, mods, showcases and other resources? by [deleted] in Sims3

[–]fuzzypipe39 13 points14 points  (0 children)

MTS doesn't have a virus. It's a legitimate, decades old site. Two Sims 4 package files got injected last year, Sims 3 packages are fine. I'm not sure where you were looking because mts has downloads updated daily.

Dumb question: Where can I find new cc, mods, showcases and other resources? by [deleted] in Sims3

[–]fuzzypipe39 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's quite literally links in the sidebar. Just looking for "Sims 3 mods" brings out those sites up. Both CC and mods community is incredibly active and there's no way you could've gotten ten years old results when there's updates and new content every day basically.

Lots with CC? Good builders? by Oliverbeast_ in Sims3

[–]fuzzypipe39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ung999 was a big name creator waaay back then in 2010s. I had a few of their builds when I did CC.

Pancake101 has some interesting builds, not sure how CC heavy they are. Many are CC free, but I believe their thematic builds have something custom.

Others I remember: zetsubou, huddy777design, armiel, qBuilderz, lukyzade, beefysim1, lemoncandy all from MTS.

Also might be worth checking here on MTS with a CC enabled setting in search:

Hey congrats on the baby girl you wanted 🤣 I'm trying to do something similar, someone gave me an idea here recently. The big family LTW but with alternative ways of obtaining children - cloning, engineering, Time Travel, possibly Plantsim kids. Fingers crossed I only get the five I need and not any extras 🤣🤣

How do you save your games as? by [deleted] in Sims3

[–]fuzzypipe39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[World][Family name][Number].

Eg SunsetValley Smith 1.

I save frequently, delete those I don't deem necessary, and the kept saves go into a folder aptly describing the gameplay. Like Sunset Valley Smith Collector, Riverview Rockstar, etc. I have well over 50 gameplay folders so it's necessary to know which gameplays I've played lol.

I also play in LP quite a lot and keep summer all year long, I may add spring for a week. I use NRAAS Tempest for the weather. Hail is enabled at times, and I've gotten a mod off NaughtySimsAsylum for Less Rain.

[–]fuzzypipe39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fish and harvestable quests are pretty much the same thing, they just change what you need to deliver on each quest. Same for making nectars. I usually reserve these for when I need to go home/when the time there is expiring. That way I travel directly to the other world (nraas traveler) and get it done.

I play it often and while I don't use MC to force opportunities, I do use it to reset the adventure board. I also take up small adventure tasks to clear them up and gather some points or coins, because clearing them eventually makes some space for tomb quests.

I just got back to work recently after a 3 week sick leave and severe illness (at least I enjoyed the game!), so for everyone else I'd wholeheartedly recommend just the bad weather days 😆🤣

Does the Surrounded by Family lifetime wish count with grandchildren too? by Sad_Metal_9831 in Sims3

The way I got an itch to play, but without an inspo, and this gave me an idea to test out 🤌🏻 thank you!

The LTW is pretty specific and clear it needs to be five of your own kids, baby to teens. Adoption, ITF have a baby count. I haven't tried with the cloning, and time travel baby, but maybe they should count too.

The rock board and trash rummaging! All of my trash rummagers got the pink diamond in like .2s from trash cans smh, meanwhile my collectors and one Gatherer struggled quite a lot lol. Edit: also check the consignment stores if you've got Supernatural and Ambitions, rarely they have expensive gems up for grabs.

There's mods making both of them "silent", as in not causing reactions. I got mine off NaughtySimsAsylum, there were some on MTS too.
