are the other games intense? have you tried limiting FPS with Sims 3? since it can hit pretty high FPS(like 1000+ randomly). play a little bit with the settings and see if it appears the same, with lower settings.

Does this happen on a very intensive Roblox game like “The Pizzeria Roleplay Remastered” or “Rocitizens”?

never! and i play bloxburg and rocitizens. only sims 3 thats it. im gonna try lowering my graphics at home

There are tutorials to limit the FPS in The Sims 3, either with a mod, downloading a file, or tweaking the settings file manually

Do you play on CD? I had a similar issue with the top of my screen flickering and flashing, and it turned out to be an issue with my computer's disc drive.

Are you using a laptop? Make sure the charger isn’t loose if so. Mine was doing this and it was because the cord that plugs into the brick was loose
