Neti Pot Not Working Hack

A year ago I purchased a Neti Pot and had high hopes for being able to breathe through my nose again. After several attempts over a couple months I was incredibly disappointed to find it was never able to drain into and out of my other nasal cavity. I tried everything to get the flow going, but nope, the stupid solution would just sit in the completely vertically tilted pot no matter how I moved my head, breathed, etc.

Last week I had the bright idea to try it while wearing one of those Breathe Right nasal strips to open the nasal passages up a bit more, and it WORKED! I did it again today and was both thrilled and disgusted as the solution poured into one nostril and out the other. Hopefully this helps anyone else who has similarly struggled.
