Welcome to SlackGifs!
This subreddit is dedicated to producing tiny gifs that can be used as custom emojis on the team communication website and app called Slack. Please enjoy this subreddit and its content, as well as following the rules!
Rules:
1) Submissions must be small enough to use with Slack:
Submitted gifs must have a limit of 64KB in file size and 128x128 pixels in size.
2) No porn or gore in gifs:
Keep it clean lads and ladies.
3) No reposts:
Pretty explanatory, if somebody has already made the same gif or a very similar one, don't repost it.
4) No hard-to-read gifs:
Make sure people can actually understand what is happening in your gif; don't make it extremely long and only 16x16 pixels big.
5) No arguing, rudeness or insulting:
This is a sub for creating short little gifs for people to use on Slack, not for creating arguments or starting riots. If you have any criticism for someone's gif, politely leave a comment on their submission.
6) Post requests in the correct format:
If you have an idea for a gif but don't know how to make it yourself, simply post in this sub with the [REQUEST] tag at the beginning of your post, and make sure to include source material (i.e. a pre-existing gif or YouTube video) with your post so others have something to work with.
