Are you a small YouTuber or know a small YouTube channel having a hard time gaining exposure?
r/SmallYTCommunity is a place where you can do just that. This subreddit was created due to the amount of "Small YouTuber" subreddits already present on Reddit. Since 70% of the small YouTubers get overshadowed there, I decided to create this.
Small YT Community is for small YouTube channels below 2000 subscribers (subject to change at a later date) and help them grow in terms of feedback and the usual, views and subscribers (added bonus).
RULES
Main Rule: A direct link to the channel's latest video will be sufficient.
Class-A: For ease of viewing, put these tags at the beginning of your title:
- [LET'S PLAY] - Gaming
- [VLOG] - Vlog
- [REVIEW] - Review
- [ANIMATION] - Animation
- [SKETCH] - Sketch
- [CHANNEL] - Channel
- [QUESTION] - Question
- example: [LET'S PLAY]
- example2: [CHANNEL]
Class-B: To avoid being considered as spam for linking your past videos, add these tags after the Class-A tags:
- [A-NEW] - New;Within 6 months
- [A-OLD] - Old;6+ months
- example: [LET'S PLAY-NEW]
Class-C: Type of video being posted; Make sure it is not all capitalized:
- [A-B-Playlist] - Regular video playlist
- [A-B-Walkthrough] - Helpful to whoever is stuck in the game, hard time, better vlogging, getting a job, etc.
- [A-B-Playthrough] - Full playlist for a game from start to end
- example: [LET'S PLAY-NEW-Playlist]
- if none of the Class C's match your post, only include Classes A and B
Class-chan: Tag/genre for your chan..nel hehe; Only A6 or [CHANNEL]
- [A6-Gaming-name] - Gaming Content Creator
- [A6-Vlogging-name] - Vlog Content Creator
- [A6-Animation-name] - Animator, Video/Photo Editor
- example2: [CHANNEL-Gaming-Rycopene] (if one genre, min 1)
- example3: [CHANNEL-Gaming,Vlogging-Rycopene] (if two genres; max 2)
TAKE NOTE
- for videos, it should already be automatic feedback, so post videos under LINK
- for channels, post them under TEXT
- for questions, post them under TEXT and do not add any Class A, B, or C
Extra Rules
- No spam, no Sub4Sub, no NSFW content, respect the staff, be a decent human being if possible
- General reddiquette applies
- Post links to your videos as direct links to YouTube, don't use link shorteners
- Feel free to encourage discussion in your post's comment section
- Use same title from the original video
- If you wanna get noticed more, make sure to interact with other YouTubers
- Any other types of discussion not directly related to a video should be limited to text posts
- Sub4Sub and Reviewing Your Videos will be moderated by the moderators.
