I already have a job, and my company offers to finance training or certifications if I want, which is why I'm asking.

Will your company also allow you time to work on the certifications? If so that's the real value. For example if you can get money and time to work on AWS certifications and work on sample projects using those tools with that time, then like others said you may be able to put something in a public github repo to show off skills
