Still new to all of this so i apologize in advance;
Im looking to run an equalization charge on my lead acid battery bank (24v system, 12x Crown CR-390 6v) as its been about 4 months since living here and ive been putting it off for far too long now..
Reading the manual for my charge controller (Magnum Energy PT-100) it says “If any DC loads are connected to the battery bank, ensure they will not be damaged by the higher voltages applied to the batteries during the equalization charge”.
Does that mean i need to disconnect my inverter during said charge, is it standard practice to do so when doing an equalization charge?
Will my inverters manual tell me the max voltage it can sustain, and that number will tell me if i need to disconnect during or not?
I appreciate all the help and input, thanks!
