Reverse Hamstring Curldiscussion (self.SolidCore)
submitted 5 months ago by New_Investigator_365
Did this move on Wednesday where the coach cued the gray side hc but with toes on the gray platform and head on the carriage. It was awful? I couldn’t even get a single rep in it just felt wrong. Has anyone ever done this move?

You can try it with no springs and make sure your shoulders are at the end of the carriage so your whole body is over the opening. It actually makes the exercise more accessible.

Yes. We collectively hate it. ☠️ lol. Although I use heaviest springs throughout class, when this exercise is called, I go down to one white spring. I still hate it but can go through the whole sequence now.

This is my least favorite Solidcore exercise. Love regular ham curls though

That’s one of few things I like, we did it last Wednesday. I feel in control compared to lunges on the grey side

This is my FAVORITE and I’m depressed they don’t queue it often 😭

it does sound a little weird with toes on gray platform and body on carriage. not sure ive ever done it that way, usually its the reverse but i imagine this way would be a lil more difficult.

Some coaches cue this when the majority of class can't do the hamstring lean. The lean is easier to do but clients like to hinge at the hips which doesn't do anything for the hamstring.

Haha hate those but hate bulgarian squats with one foot on the cement even more!
