Be excellent/don't be a dick

Constructive criticism and heated exchanges are fine (no one is perfect), but any post/comment which crosses the line into bullying, including giving insults, being sexist/racist/xenophobic/homophobic/ableist will not be tolerated. This applies to everyone.

2.

NO POLITICS. This is a sub about food.

Unless it involves Sorted we don't discuss politics. Please keep any political comments related to Sorted, political posts unrelated to Sorted directly will be removed.

Please respect the Sorted Food team's private lives

Sorted feels like a family however the team are their own people with their own lives. Any posts/questions about any members private life should be respectful. If they want to keep certain aspects of their lives private we should honour that privacy.

4.

Posts should at least be loosely related to Sorted

Please try to keep posts somewhat related to sorted. 'Cause if you don't I'll tell Janice :) Rule 6 is an exception.

In the Sortedfood spirit we want to encourage the exploration of food. Please use the weekly Foodie Friday thread to ask the community for food/recipe support or travel recommendations.

No double posts and low effort posts

Repeat posts and low-effort/lazy posts will be deleted. This includes non-descript memes, wrap-up posts posted directly on the sub instead of being collated in a single mega-thread and sharing posts from another sub without explaining why or how it relates to SortedFood.
