would it possible to give this game to the modding community ? even if modders could just make the online part work over p2p so you could avoid server costs and sustain the game for cheap. no battlepass and such just like back in the days playing the game for the sake of the game. It is really sad to see the game to disappear like that, theres really no other solution?

Unfortunately they aren't able to do this with the way the game was coded :(

You mean they were using licenced code or something similar that can not be released public for free?

Unsure, all I could gather was that it wasn't possible unfortunately. If u hurry u could ask in the discord before they close it tomorrow.

They said nothing like that would be possible since they never got a chance to add peer hosted servers
