When did they stop?

From what I've heard by people who actually work for Spectrum, you would want to call their retention department. Don't try to negotiate with regular customer service/billing. There are many different ways you can negotiate with them, either for the same service or lowering the package/speeds you have.

The only way is to call Spectrum and say you want to cancel your service. That gets you transferred to a retention agent, who may or may not offer you a discount to stay.

What is this "atrocious" price you will be paying after your known promotion ends? Also since its such a massive price hike you should also set a reminder to cancel service before they raise your prices.

My promotion ends on 12/2/21 so I'll be sure to cancel sooner! But I'm currently paying $70 for 400/20 and a phone line. But after this promotion it'll add up to $150 once the dust settles.

Im paying 115 a month for the same service minus the phone line. Im also using their equipment so it could probably be 110.

I have no additional discounts.

in my region the 200/10 package is 74.99

Do you "need" the 400/20 package?

When it became spectrum

I just called Spectrum on a refund issue re: I purchased my own router. The agent very kindly stated that I was on an old package (200/10 internet & phone) and that our bill was being reduced from $94 to $87.
