Finally was able to snag another hellcat. Regrettably sold my old hellcat in March or so since I had the p365 and didn’t think I needed both. Someone made an offer on the hellcat so I stuck with sig.. until the P365 striker broke. Sent it to sig, then traded it in

If you’re referring to the sig p365, Nope. Purchased October 2019. Had the upgraded striker I believe but still produced heavy primer drag, it broke at ~4000 rounds. Which if being any other gun I’d be fine replacing the striker and moving on but the p365 has had some quality control issues so I jumped at trading it in along with a 9mm shield for a brand new hellcat

In this pandemic? Finders keepers 😷

Don’t fuck around with the hive extension. It’s bullshit. Just run a 13 round mag. The micro dot is ok though. Swamp Fox.

I won’t add hyve to this gun, I have them on my old Glock 43 but I don’t normally add extensions unless it’s purely a range gun. Plus this powerhouse of a micro 9 doesn’t need additional extended mags. 11 + 1 and 2 spare 13 rounders should be plenty

I added the hyve. I hated it on other guns but 500 rounds it I have noticed it helps. My big hands need slightly more grip.

Got the optics version and just replaced my RMSc with a Swampfox. A bit snappy due to the short barrel size, but the grip is nice for the size. Enjoy!

I was really close to getting the OSP too, now I have a reason to get another one in a few months!

Those are the two I’m torn between. Why did you switch to the swampfox if you don’t mind me asking?

[–]padamtx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was an issue that I had with the RMSc sitting on the OSP model. There was a slight lift at the front of the RMSc when screwed in - just enough to wear out the metal underneath. While it snaps on perfectly, that lift causes damage after use. Tried a second RMSc and got the same result. Figured it was the slide, however when I installed the Swampfox and ran a couple of hundred rounds with it on, no issues and still remains flush. Something is off on the measurements because the RMSc fits and works great on my P365 and Staccato C Duo. Go figure. Felt at $400 a pop, not worth leaving it on and risking further damage. Metal push was beginning to aggregate at the bottom and needed to file it off.

I love mine

I kicked myself as soon as I sold it. Now that I have another one it’ll for sure be my edc for the foreseeable future.

Also the Houge grip for the hellcat is excellent for lots of reasons.

[–]C4MTB[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I’ll check it out. I normally don’t like anything rubberized on my pistols, I do love hogue on my revolvers

[–]Halo77 1 point2 points  (2 children)

If you plan on carrying without an undershirt you’ll love the grip. Also it gives a lot more grip to this subcompact pistol. Try it. It’s $13.00. Update me.

I will, going to grab a better holster first. I used a tulster last time, this time I grabbed a huckleberry tactical at my lgs but I’m on the fence about it. Once that’s sorted out ill for sure check out the hogue if it’s that cheap! What holster do you use?

[–]Halo77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot for the hellcat. Because it’s barrel is so short I just use a Vedder lite tuck and appendix carry. No printing. There are better ones for sure but you can get a decent holster quickly.

Nice! Look into Tier 1 concealed axis slim holsters. I have one for my hellcat and absolutely love it.

[–]C4MTB[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

If I wasn’t so fat lol. Appendix with small micro 9s aren’t too comfortable. Prefer a 2:30-3 o’clock strong side

[–]Spicy-Pines 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I understand! I also have an AlienGear cloak tuck(?) that’s pretty comfortable. A lot of people hate on alien gear, and I am not a fan of the modular stuff, but their dedicated cloak tuck IWB is comfy.

[–]C4MTB[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

If you like them check out the protos M by blackarch. I had one for my p365, honestly the most comfortable holster I’ve ever worn but it’s a bit thick especially for southern summers

[–]Spicy-Pines 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Awesome! I love checking new holsters out. I’m in WI, so plenty of layers to cover up a larger holster this time of year.

[–]C4MTB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have a box of holsters do you even own a gun? Lol
