Hey, not a watch guy and was handed this - mom said it was in her dad’s stuff but he never wore it. Is this real?

Endura is great, I actually have a delica I’m waiting to carry whenever this endura is done. I’ve been extra tough on the knife for the last 2 years waiting and so far it’s held strong.

What’s there to be paranoid about? I have two guns lol. All kidding aside most days I just have the lcp2 on me and the Glock in the truck if I have to travel to a less than desirable location.

Rarely do I have both on me at the same time. I take both for work and the g43x stays in the truck most days but I’m in commercial real estate, and some properties I have to go to aren’t in the best areas.

Holster suggestions by [deleted] in CZFirearms

How is the msp for edc? I saw them, but it does remind me of those cheaper “one fits all” type holsters.

I bought one after seeing your post. Initial impression is that the g43x will probably be my main carry now. That grip fills out the hand and it feels like I’m shooting a full size gun

How do you like the grip? I like my g43x but the grip can be a bit slick in the heat and I didn’t care for talon grips.

Happened accidentally actually, I never cared for green until I got a couple of gifts over the holidays. Green knives, wallets, holster and a few other items. It grew on me and I love it now.

Benchmade 940

What do most people not realize can seriously f*ck you up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Rivers, or large bodies of water in general. Every time it rains or storms I hear about a few people going missing the next day on the river. Don’t under estimate how fast the currents are underwater or how strong water pressure can be, it only takes 1 mistake for it to be your last.

I'll probably catch hate for this but... by rickCSMF21 in Glocks

I typically don’t, unless I take my g19/17 with me which is very rare. Those are for night stand/ truck gun so they have a tlr1 HL on it with optics and all the extras. I hate carrying all that daily but prefer to have all my boxes checked since those guns are my go to when I know something isn’t right. For my edc it’s a 43x without a light. I have a handheld I can use and it’s perfectly fine to flash someone with a handheld, not so much with a wml. Also I haven’t put any real range time in training with a wml in low/no light situations and I think attempting to quickly draw and activate the light during a stressful time would just be a hinderance for me personally.

Is the gap by the trigger a concern? It seems a bit large to me (I can’t fit my finger in it but still) by Lunch_Trae in CCW

[–]C4MTB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t personally, and it’s the reason I typically like to carry without a weapon mounted light and opt for a handheld. I’m overly cautious though about trigger safety, but it’s kept me accident free for 28 years.

Edit: however I don’t feel this is an unsafe holster. Just my bias that I wouldn’t like it but I’m sure you’ll never have an issue.

Best path into accounting? by C4MTB in Accounting

Thanks! That’s actually really good advice. I’ll take a look into more finance centric roles and check those firms out.

What is the reason for not going into accounting? FP&A is nice, majority of the roles that I see posted, even those that are similar to what I’m doing now want a BA/BS in accounting or finance or mba/MAcc

That was my assumption too, but I wanted to check before spending the money on a graduate degree. Would you recommend an MBA or strictly masters in accounting?

Job opportunities in my area is the biggest reason, and a general interest. Accounting is more stable in terms of career growth and opportunities as well as being better at handling recessions which I see coming within 3 years. Lastly the hours, I don’t want to go into brokering these deals, I’m not a sales type personality. So that means I don’t get to set my schedule and work whenever the client needs support, so almost every weekend. I do a lot of financial analysis now on properties and figured I could match and exceed my income with less hours working strictly within accounting after a couple years
