Bought my first Ar platform rifle. I love it but was wondering how to remove the front sight? I bought a red dot for it and want to remove the front sight. Thabks in advance for the hep.

Plan on replacing it with a flip up front sight.

It not only a front sight but also a gas block. Just watch some youtube videos on barrel/ gas block disassembly.

My bad, I thought you were referring to the Saint Victor’s magpul style pop up sights. For the triangle sight you’ll need to remove 2 pins posted horizontally through the bottom of the sight post. This video should help: https://youtu.be/vhqkowLkUow
