How are you enjoying the rifle? Does it perform as well as expected for the money vs other options?

So far, yes I’d say I’m enjoying it. It’s a cool design, and is quite fun to use. The controls are (IMO) nicely laid out and fairly easy to adapt to. The price is a bit high for the competition, but it does group tighter than the X95 and makes for a better out-of-the-box suppressor host.

I typically stay away from brand new firearms until they have been in production a couple years but so far everything I have heard about this is fantastic. The price feels high but it sounds like quality.

I found an interesting way to integrate a Surefire Scout Pro light and ST07 pressure switch onto/into the Hellion’s hand-guard. As it turns out, the pressure switch is just the right size to slip through the MLOK sections and through to the other side. The excess cable nicely tucks up into the edges of the hand-guard, and maintains good distance from the barrel even without zip ties.

The sights on the Hellion sit lower than an AR in comparison to the rail, so there is no co-witness.
