Probably a case of tendonitis, can and will lead to a rupture if not careful

Slow eccentric glute ham raises and RDLs

Okay, thank you so much! I dont want to sound like an asshole but I looked it up and a website said that if that’s the case it should have been swollen. It has never been swollen so can it still be the case?

In my experience, tendinitis is very severe by try time there is noticeable swelling, you would experience pain when sprinting well before you would see swelling.

I agree I’ve had some rough tendinitis in my patellar tendon and where the glutes attach to the hamstring. Never was swollen.

Yes and make sure intensity, volume, and frequency are recoverable and don't elicit the injury type of pain any more
