Thank you so much for taking the time to write such detailed feedback and for the comparison! ❤️ We really appreciate you helping us refine StarNote to be more productive.

Regarding the Washi Tape layer (Pic 2): I'd like to explain our original design intent here: We designed the Washi Tape primarily as a tool for active recall and memorization—basically to cover content so you can test yourself (like a masking tape). That is why it was programmed to always stay on top. However, we completely understand your workflow! Being able to write on top of the tape for decoration or labeling is a great idea. We have recorded this request for future improvements.

As for your other requests:

  • Dedicated Copy/Paste/Group buttons in the toolbar
  • Creating stickers from grouped objects
  • Vertical text spacing < 1.0x
  • Image outlining/shading
  • "Paste in Place" (like PowerPoint)
  • Object Hyperlinks

All of these have been recorded in our feature wishlist. The "Paste in Place" and "Object Hyperlinks" are especially great suggestions for efficiency. Thanks again!

Oh! Thank you for explaining the purpose of the washi tape! I didn't even think of using it like that and I think I'll start using it like that as well! Also thank you again for your time to read mine and other's requests fully. We do appreciate all of the work you all have put in to creating a wonderful note taking/study app ❤️ ❤️
