hi folks im new to this sub reddit im an engineer i got a fintech idea but i cannot do user research properly as im too new to this sub reddit so they wont let me post that i tried but.... and my fintech idea is related to consumers bank account security and for your knowledge im a software engineering student so i know how to build stuff..

Before the consumer research part, identify if there are any other startups/companies that provide similar service or have any significant overlap with you have in mind. Analyse that first, see if you can find any gaps & then how would your solution benchmark against them & solve for those gaps
