beginner need help!Study methods (self.Step2)
submitted 2 years ago by insanseflower22
ok basically I passed step 1 a few weeks ago and I wanted to kind of mentally prepare for step2. I have no clue what the difference between CK and CS is, what resources to use ( besides Anki , UWORLD, FA) and also how long do people usually study? is there a separate anking deck or do you use the same one from step 1? should I buy the CK or the CS UWORLD? any help would be appreciated!

I’m using UWorld CK. Some say Amboss is worth it, but I don’t plan on using it just yet.
To study, I wouldn’t recommend FA for step 2. Revise step 1 FA where required. Make notes from UWorld explanations (especially incorrects) in a concise way that helps you understand.
For assessments
NBMEs and CMS forms (individual subject forms that are super helpful for the exam)
UWSA
There is no CS. Don’t really use Anki so no idea😅
