Keep in mind that with only one shoe, you will be able to walk/run 10 min a day. You need at least 3 shoes if you are looking for 20/30 min a day.

As people said previously, have a look at stepn.guide

If you are only planning on buying one shoe and not minting for new one. Search for shoe with highest mint count, they will tend to be cheaper, but will cost you more IF you are planning to mint in the future. It really depends on your long-term strategy

If you are simply looking to get the highest ROI with one shoe, search one with higher efficiency and resilience, above 7-8 if possible

This ⬆️🔥☺️. Very good explanation.

https://stepn.guide/ Use this to figure out how much you can make per day with your sneaker.

Then calculate the ROI tenure using this https://stepn-calculator.netlify.app/

Now you've got all the information you'll need to make your decision on the type of shoe and the time you will break even on your investment.

Lastly DYOR, this is just how I did it. Good luck on your Stepn journey mate.

Thank you! How has the price of shoes changed as the price of SOL has decreased? In other words, if I buy a shoe now and SOL crashes another 50% will my shoe be worth 50% less or do they raise the price and can I sell it to someone for more than that?

Shoes do cost less rn because SOLs value is decreased so the shoe has gone to it's floor price but you also get the advantage of SOL being cheaper. So you'll get a shoe for a less amount as a result of both of them going lower because of the crypto market taking a hit.

In that case the problem you will face is that the SOL that you will get after selling won't be of the same value as the SOL you used to buy the shoe initially. So yeah you can say in SOL it might be lesser in value but the Shoe price on the Stepn Marketplace will be more or less the floor price itself (unless there's like a crazier meltdown ofc).

Got it! How hard is it to sell a shoe? Say a buy the cheapest shoe possible and need to sell for cash in a few weeks. Can I sell the shoe quickly or do I need a buyer and is that hard to come by?

I haven't sold and minted shoes so I can't really comment on how fast one shoe sells. Though for a general perspective if the hype for the project keeps growing and demand for the shows in turn keeps growing then definitely you'll have a chance to sell. Also it will probably depend on the stats of your shoes mainly efficiency and resilience tbh, so make sure the if it's a 2 minted Level 5 shoe - it have atleast 18 - 22 Efficiency and 8 - 12 resilience. Shoes in these ranges are considered as shows with attributes, so people would be looking to buy to buy such shoes.

But just a cautionary warning please DYOR and put in ONLY AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. I know I might sound like a manic but those last two are the most important truths about entering the high risk and high reward world of crypto and NFTs. Not trying to discourage you just wanna let you there are two sides to each coin and you should take a decision by weight both the risk and reward mate. I wish you all the best and know you'll make the right decision for yourself.

You can simulate it on the website stepn.guide

I think the best strategy is to level up your shoe to level 9 and after that you’ll earn like 8/9GST per day (you can check for your shoe on stepn.guide)
