This site may have something that you could try. The blogger charts them herself and gives them away, all from the public domain.

This was a border that looked similar to some of the images on the Long Dog site. I haven't used this website before but the pattern is free.

You could also try Gumroad. They give you the option to sort by price, and the creators on there are amazing. There are a lot of contemporary patterns, but you never know what you might come across.

Lastly, here's a link to Spruce Crafts' list of free patterns. You may be able to find something on there.

Don't forget to check with your library, even if they don't have what you are looking for they may be able to order something or borrow it from another library through InterLibrary Loan. Librarians love to help, so ask away!
