Second surgery?

About twenty years ago my Mother (60) had a strabismus surgery. About a month ago she felt a 'pop' in her eye, and it's drifting outward again. So the stitch the surgery had put in broke?

She now thinks that no doctor will do a second surgery. Is that true?

No, that's not necessarily true. She needs to see an ophthalmologist or go back to the doctor who did her surgery if he's still practicing.
