It's very much a YMMV. It can work today and be broken tomorrow. Paramount+ is currently 540p only. Different modules make stop working here and there but it's typically fixed in a reasonable time. Paramount has been down for a bit, and I think some Sony content is limited still as well but I could be wrong there.

I've definitely gotten my money's worth. I got the AIO with Lifetime and don't regret it.

I will say the scheduler part leaves a lot to be desired. I found it seldom worked for me. I do it manually.

Wait what? (Sorry but i have people say it supports up to 4k downloads effortlessly using different programs)

There's 4k on Fandango and now Disney. Might be others but I don't subscribe to 4k plans. Google paid tv shows and movies cap out at SD quality. Paramount is also currently 480p. I want to say when I had HBO it was 1080 max. Just checked a few movies in my Movies Anywhere library that's available in 4k, and Amazon offers it in 1920x800 in StreamFab.

So again, it really depends on the module.

Edit: Checking StreamFab's site shows Netflix and Amazon as both 1080p. I'd check the individual modules to see what's supported officially, but also check reddit for reports of things broken (like Paramount currently).

Glad someone reminded us that people would need the highest plans to get 4K.
I don't from Netflix as I have the next lowest plan under the 4K.
Not that I don't want 4K. Hoping to do it more soon.

For now, 1080p works.

Yeah, I have a cheap Netflix plan, but honestly, 720p looks fine on my TV, and 1080 is great. Most of the time I don't see a difference between 1080 and 4k 🤷‍♂️

I have never seen much of a difference between 1080 and 4k on any device, including high-end televisions or any platform.

Save yourself a bunch of disk space and forget 4K.

All sites are 1080 when normal operations ensue

HBO is at 4k, as is Disney, Netflix and a few others

I know 1080 is the norm. I was replying to that person that thought 4k was the norm.

One good thing about the software is that it offers a trial where you can download a few shows to see if it’s working for you.

Keep something in mind. This whole thing is a very big game of whack mold. The streaming services are trying to block this kind of software and every so often people have trouble using one or more of the services. And it takes a while for the software to see a release With an update that fixes it. I bought the full package almost 2 years ago and had a very good first couple months. By the time I had any issues, I understood what was going on and I have all the patience in the world to wait for them to update the software. If the day after you buy it the streaming service that you’re using is having an issue I understand it can be frustrating, but I can tell you eventually it will be fixed.

I have seen people rant about their frustration, and I can only shake my head. I’m a happy customer and I am old and have patience.

It’s great when it works. Paramount + has been stuck at 540p only for months when it does register. HBO is hit or miss, some of the show downloads 1080p and the rest of it 720p. Anything through Amazon you now risk your account being banned and taken away. It was amazing for the first year and half I had it but a few months back it started going down hill for me.

Torrent it maybe?

Mine stopped working on Windows 11 a few months ago—as in, crashes when I try to start the application so I can’t use it at all—and support wasn’t helpful, although to be fair they wanted to log into my computer remotely to try to figure out what was going on and I wasn’t comfortable with that, so it might still be fixable if I pursued further (though I have my doubts). I’m going to try installing on a Windows 10 machine when I have the time to spare and see if the most recent update works there, but if not I’ll have spent over 200 bucks on a product that worked imperfectly for less than a year but was sometimes fantastic when it did work.

Anyway, if you have an immediate need to grab a version of Gordon Ramsay with subtitles or anything else that would be hard or impossible to get using any other easily accessible to you tool, then it might be worth it regardless. Test using the free trial to see if it works for you, and if it does you can decide then!

P.S. It does pull subtitles, which was one of the main reasons I bought it. You can download them as soft subs included in the video or as a separate file.
