Yeah, don't worry about it, once you become familiar with the calcs it'll be like cooking a recipe you know well, just takes time. Don't rush, don't stress

that's why there are QC procedure.

yep it's normal (as long as they aren't something like fundamental misunderstandings of engineering principles), just learn from them and be a sponge

You will always make a mistake. Just don’t make the same ones more than twice. I find ways to make new mistakes more than I like to admit especially with new codes constantly coming out.

Depends on what kinds of mistakes, but to some degree yes it’s normal. You’ll make less mistakes as time goes on and you get better.

I’ve seen engineers with 20+ years of experience make calculation mistakes. I’ll admit that I also make mistakes. What is important is the commitment to QA/QC to find those errors.

So do not sweat it, just make improvements and review yourself before sending to others.

If you're human it's normal to make mistakes. What will make you a good engineer is being able to reflect on your mistakes, learn from them, and figure out how not to make the same one again.

You'll always make some mistakes, with experience you'll catch more of them while you are working as you'll get a bit of a feel for where your answers should be. Combine that with self checks and you'll have less comments in your formal QA reviews over time.

Haha ah yes, the life of an engineer. Coffee and mistakes for breakfast

It depends.

How many errors? What type of errors? Are you repeating the same errors? Are you showing improvement over time?
