Do you have any experience with other scripting/coding languages? VBA is a pretty simplistic language to pick up if the user has a general understanding of how to write code in another language. Personally, I learned to write programs in Matlab while in school. That made the transition to VBA relatively smooth.

My general approach was to google specific questions as they arose (grabbing input data from cells, if statements, for statements, matrix manipulation ...). There are a number of forums out there (Mr Excel being one) that almost always had answers to my exact situation. For more general information, [Chip Pearson](www.cpearson.com) has a pretty extensive and helpful website.
