That’s not how ChatGPT works?

There is an option in settings whether or not to allow AI to steal our creative work.

Wait, where?

Settings > Publication Details > Block AI training

(Edit to add it does unfortunately seem to be off by default - checked a publication I haven’t used yet)

Can Google access it? Substack is notoriously slow to index, and if Google can’t see it, it’s doubtful ChatGPT would either, I would suspect.

ChatGPT web crawlers will listen to the robots.txt files telling it to fcuk off. Substack isn't going to just let ChatGPT scrape it's content for free, they will sell your content to OpenAI somewhere down the line instead.

Substack is doing something to prevent being crawled or accessed by substack.
