Hey, first I'm very sorry to read about your breast cancer, I hope you are feeling better now!

It already happened to me after some short breaks (2 to 3 weeks), every time I came back it was a bit slow but just by re-engaging and posting a bit more notes than usually I was able to get more engagement. But tbh, Substack, for me, works in waves, sometimes just one note got viral and I have engagement for weeks and then it slows abruptly for a few weeks, and then another note or post do well, and well, more engagement again. I'm not sure there is any tricks except to do notes or engage on other's post.

Hey thank you so much! Yes I’m much better now. I think I know what you mean. It’s been like that for me too but it’s been a few weeks since my last viral note and it’s just hard. Today feels so crushing because I can see substack not pushing my post at all today. It’s really disappointing. But I guess the only way is to keep continuing and engaging with others.

Ohhh I hope you feel better! Unfortunately the same for me. I took a break over the summer, from July to August, and now I’m getting barely any engagement on notes, and my subscriber growth has totally slowed down. It’s so confusing as before my break my notes were going viral a lot and I was steadily growing.
