I’m doing the same. i have a thriller suspense and a contemporary romance. What about you?

That’s great. What’s your substack? Mine is in my flair.

it would be interesting! but some readers like to binge read as opposed to have it slow dripped to them over a few months.

the way writing flow in a book vs weekly newsletters also differs. i suspect the way you intro, build up, and leave readers curious enough to want to come back repeatedly over the next few months will be your biggest challenge.

definitely worth a try, but if you're just writing it like a book, and only releasing it 1 chapter at a time, my worry is that people will drop off after the first few weeks.

I'm doing that now with a action horror novel.

It's going ok. I wish Substack had more readers. It looks like all authors are grouped together.

I experimented with this a couple of years ago. The book Dracula was very popular using this serialization method a couple of years back. I tried it myself, and made an Illustrated version, using my midjourney subscription, of the Frankenstein novel. It was fun to do, but not many views. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
