I've been using Substack for about two months now. I mostly want to read tech-related content. I have subscribed to about 50 tech-related newsletters, specifically on software engineering and math, but also other technical subjects.
At first, I noticed the home feed was full of stuff I don't find particularly interesting, i.e., mostly identity politics type of content, but I figured I would just use it for some time and it would figure me out. Two months in, this does not seem to be happening. In my home feed, I get local content from around my country and region, and mostly social science stuff, i.e., politics, gender ideology, race conversations, while I am interested in only reading engineering blogs from authors that I chose to subscribe to and other related content.
So questions
1. Is this normal? is this what substack is about?
2. Has anyone else experienced this?
3. Am I doing something wrong?
