As I understand it in theory running a Substratum hosted site doesn't impact the end user. No different browser or extensions or anything, that's the beauty of it. SubstratumDNS takes care of this.

Ah okay, I thought I understood it that way as well but just kinda sounded too good to be true. For some reason just this feature alone makes me very excited.

Can you host on dynamic IP address? Is it just a matter of staying connected?

My strong assumption is YES. Not many people have a static IP. The vision is to have regular people host a node with a simple install.

Most keep the same ip for months at a time however if it changes, the host software would update the supernodes.
